Current Projects

The Peacock King - This is a fantasy web serial that I co-write (alongside Charissa Cotrill) and do production on. The logo is my work, as is the main trilogy, some of the shorts, and a lot of the other design and art there. It's also somewhat of a personal playground and long-running experiment in advertising, promotion, and community interaction. I did my first fudging about with Drupal on this site (now Char maintains most of it), and soon it'll have a custom theme that I'm designing.

Drupal - Well, first of all, there's this site. All of my self-hosted sites are on Drupal, so I guess I've been wrestling with it for almost a year by now. I've got theming down enough to start working towards offering custom Drupal themes to freelance customers. I'd like to code a theme specifically for reading WebLit that's set up similar to most e-readers on the market right now, but that's a little farther down the line.

WebLit.us - A community for discussion and posting resources related to the promotion of WebLit. (WebLit is literature on the web, which can be anything from online novels to haiku blogs to choose your own HTML adventures.) I designed the logo and some ads. I also promote the site through social media and word of mouth, and join in the brainstorming sessions there in an effort to bring more exposure to WebLit authors. This is all pro bono work - I do it for love of the community and the medium.

Writing - Aside from Peacock King, I have a couple of other writing projects simmering on the stove. I might serialize them as well, but we'll see. I'm also interested in submitting to publishers. I write at a rate of about 500 words per 10 minutes, so this takes less time out of my day than you might think. (Messing about with Drupal, on the other hand...)

deviantArt - I post design and illustration pieces here, but it's more of a casual gallery, and I don't maintain it constantly. All of my hobby art is there as well. It's used mostly for cross-promotion by this point. I'm mostly mentioning it for anyone who googles my name and wonders if that's me there. Yup.
